Nicola Camatti, Ph.D. in Economics. He is employed in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari, Italy. He has directed numerous national and international projects with tourism and urban development as their central themes. His studies focus on the development of tourism DSS, big data analysis, management and promotion of tourism destinations, and marketing. He founded the MED Online Tourist Observatory as part of the ShapeTourism MED project. He is currently the lead partner of the Cities2030 project funded by the Commission of the European Union within the European research program H2020and partner of the European SmartCulTour project (H2020).
